Full Dentures

Full dentures, also known as complete dentures, are a removable dental appliance designed to replace all of the teeth in either the upper or lower jaw, or both. The full denture is a prosthetic device made of an acrylic base that is designed to fit snugly over the gums and soft tissues of the mouth. On the base, prosthetic teeth are placed in a manner that is custom-designed for each patient. Full dentures can restore the appearance of a natural smile as well as the ability to chew and speak properly after tooth loss due to aging, injury, or other factors. Full dentures can be created to fit snugly over existing dental implants or attached to remaining teeth in the mouth, providing a more stable and natural-looking solution for tooth replacement.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are removable dental appliances that are designed to replace one or more missing teeth in the mouth. Similar to full dentures, they consist of prosthetic teeth attached to a base that is made to fit over the gums and soft tissues of the mouth. However, unlike full dentures, partial dentures are used when only a few teeth are missing and the remaining natural teeth are still healthy enough to support the partial denture. Partial dentures can be designed to clasp onto the remaining teeth or attach to dental implants for a more secure and stable fit. The goal of partial dentures is to not only restore the function of missing teeth, but also to maintain proper tooth alignment and prevent any dental issues that might arise due to missing teeth.
